Founder of HYE Aero
A boutique aircraft brokerage created for clients who value precision, discretion, and long-term thinking. With 20+ years in business aviation and deep experience in international transactions, Matt brings a hands-on approach to acquisitions, sales, and advisory—balancing market strategy with disciplined diligence so clients can move confidently.
Built on the belief that aviation should be both elevated and intentional, HYE Aero donates a portion of every transaction’s profit to the HYE Aero Foundation, extending each closing beyond the aircraft and into measurable impact.
Matt grew up in Boulder, Colorado, earned Eagle Scout, and started flying at 16—early markers of the discipline and leadership that still define how he operates today.

Executive Assistant at HYE Aero
Gretchen Kemp is an experienced professional with a diverse background across education, training, customer service, and operations. She spent over two decades as a high school choir director, developing strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, along with a calm, disciplined approach to managing complex environments.
Her career also includes corporate training within the juvenile justice system and work as an accredited dog trainer—roles that demanded structure, accountability, and exceptional attention to detail. Gretchen further brings 14 years of experience with Walt Disney World, where she developed a deep foundation in world-class customer service, operational excellence, and guest-centric problem solving.
Currently, Gretchen serves as Executive Assistant at HYE Aero, supporting the firm’s bookkeeping, client communications, and administrative operations. Through her role, she has developed a strong appreciation for the aerospace industry’s emphasis on precision, safety, and professionalism. She is known for her reliability, discretion, and people-focused approach, helping ensure seamless operations behind the scenes.
